We're seeking a motivated and experienced Maintenance Technician to join the team at our stunning new 276-unit luxury waterfront community located directly on the Columbia River in Washougal, Washington.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of a new Class A lease-up community from the very beginning. As a key member of the onsite team, you'll help prepare apartment homes, maintain exceptional curb appeal, and ensure residents enjoy an outstanding living experience from day one.
Target Start Date: Late November / Early December 2026
Position: Full-Time Maintenance Technician
Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:30am- 5:00pm
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00
Driver's License Required
Main Responsibilities:
Complete apartment turns and prepare homes for new move-ins
Perform general maintenance repairs including plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, appliance repair, and carpentry
Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of community grounds, amenities, and common areas
Respond to resident service requests in a timely and professional manner
Assist with preventive maintenance programs and inspections
Monitor and report safety concerns and ensure compliance with company and OSHA safety standards
Maintain maintenance tools, equipment, shop areas, and service vehicles
Assist with seasonal projects, landscaping, and property upkeep as needed
Participate in a rotating 24-hour emergency on-call schedule
Deliver exceptional customer service while promoting resident satisfaction and retention
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of apartment maintenance or related maintenance experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience with appliance troubleshooting and repair
Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, and general maintenance practices
Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Positive attitude and team-oriented approach
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
QualificationsLanguage Requirement
All team members must have the basic ability to use computer/smart phone applications for training and company system purposes. Employees must also be able to comprehend written documents such as work orders, safety rules, instructions, policies, and procedures. Also required is the ability of employees to speak and communicate effectively with clients, coworkers and management.
