Princeton Property Management is looking for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Technician II to join our team and provide maintenance support at Foster Plaza and Lassam Terrace Apartments.
Previous experience in apartment or property maintenance is required along with working knowledge of minor electrical, plumbing, drywall, appliance repair, and general building maintenance.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Compensation:
Earn $28.00–$30.00 per hour, depending on experience. In addition to competitive pay, you'll receive an $80 monthly auto reimbursement and an $85 monthly phone reimbursement for this mobile position. You'll also have the opportunity to earn additional income through our performance-based bonus program.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of community grounds, including adjacent streets, to ensure excellent curb appeal.
- Keep common areas, dumpster enclosures, and trash receptacle areas clean, organized, and free of debris.
- Complete apartment turns efficiently, ensuring units are move-in ready.
- Respond to and complete resident maintenance requests promptly, professionally, and thoroughly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized maintenance shop, work area, and company vehicle.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become major repairs.
- Travel between assigned communities to provide maintenance support as needed.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures while using tools, equipment, and maintenance materials.
- Assist with general repairs, building maintenance, and other duties as assigned to support the needs of the communities.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb stairs for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and other seasonal elements.
- Ability to safely use ladders and work at heights when performing maintenance and repairs.
- Manual dexterity to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment while performing detailed repair tasks.
- Ability to respond to emergency maintenance situations and perform physically demanding tasks as needed.
- Ability to travel between multiple apartment communities throughout the workday as required.
- Ability to safely operate a company or personal vehicle while traveling between assigned properties.
