Your Role as a Maintenance Technician
As a Maintenance Technician, you will work under the direction of the Maintenance Manager and Community Manager to complete maintenance requests, preventative maintenance, and general repairs. This role plays a key part in supporting resident satisfaction and protecting the physical condition of the community.
You will contribute to a safe, clean, and well-functioning environment while collaborating closely with on-site teams.
Key Responsibilities
Our Ideal Candidate for this Role
Education
· High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent level of education and experience.
Preferred Certifications
· EPA certification preferred
· HVAC certification preferred
· Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification a plus
Experience & Requirements
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in apartment or property maintenance
· Flexibility and availability for on-call duty and emergency repairs.
· A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle is required for this role for the purpose of on-call emergencies.
· Must be willing to perform additional duties such as snow removal, and unit touch ups.
Skills & Attributes
· Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Strong customer service and communication skills
· Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to maintenance and safety
· Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
