Key Responsibilities

• Manage all leasing activities for select multifamily properties, including tours, applications, lease signings and current lease modifications.
• Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email and walk-ins.
• Maintain accurate records in Yardi and ensure compliance with leasing policies.
• Assist in completing administrative tasks associated with current lease modifications and/or resident changes.
• Conduct Market surveys and stay informed about local rental trends.
• Assist with resident retention initiatives and renewal processes.
• Collaborate with property manager and maintenance teams to ensure unit readiness.
• Provide exceptional customer service and build strong Resident relationships.
• Greet and assist prospective tenants in a professional and friendly manner
• Conduct property tours and showcase available units to potential renters
• Provide accurate and up-to-date information about the property, amenities, and leasing terms
• Process rental applications, conduct background checks, and verify references
• Prepare lease agreements and ensure all necessary documents are completed accurately
• Coordinate move-in procedures, including inspections, key exchanges, and paperwork
• Address tenant inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests promptly and professionally
• Maintain organized records of leasing activities, tenant information, and lease agreements

Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in multifamily leasing or property management is required
• Proficiency in Yardi property management software required
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with potential tenants
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills for managing paperwork and records
• Proficient in data entry and computer skills for maintaining accurate records
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Ability to negotiate lease terms and handle confidential information responsibly
• High level of professionalism, attention to detail, and customer service skills
• Strong knowledge of Section 8 housing regulations, Fair Housing laws, and landlord-tenant law to ensure compliance across all leasing activities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
