Opportunity:
We seek a versatile part-time Building Maintenance and Renovation Technician. If you're proactive and take pride in your work, this role is for you. You'll undertake maintenance tasks and skilled renovations, ensuring our property remains top-notch. Start part-time and move to full-time if we both agree.
Responsibilities:
- Handle maintenance and repair activities.
- Conduct renovation tasks with attention to detail.
- Ensure compliance with CHA HQS.
- Lead and manage a maintenance team as the role expands.
- Implement safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with tenants.
Qualifications:
- MUST HAVE PLUMBING EXPERIENCE & BE ABLE TO DO BASIC ELECTRICAL INSTALLS/REPAIRS
- MUST BE ABLE TO INSTALL LUXURY TILE
- 5+ years in multifamily property maintenance.
- Proven ability to pass CHA inspections.
- Basic skills in carpentry, painting, and tiling.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Proactive and hands-on approach.
Compensation:
- $26-$30 per hour, plus discretionary bonuses.
- ONCE FULL-TIME:
- Dental, vision, and life insurance (full-time).
- Paid vacation: 1 week after the first year, 2 weeks after the second year.
