Property Manager – Wildwoods of Lake Johnson Apartments

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Property Manager to oversee Wildwoods of Lake Johnson Apartments, a 219-home community in Raleigh, NC. Wildwoods of Lake Johnson has been owned and operated by the same group since its development in 1984, reflecting a long-standing commitment to stability, quality, and resident care.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and develop onsite staff, providing regular coaching and performance evaluations
• Oversee leasing activity, resident relations, move-ins/outs, and rent collection
• Manage community budgets, payroll, financial records, and vendor purchasing in line with company policies
• Ensure timely completion of maintenance requests, property inspections,unit turnover and contractor oversight
• Support community marketing initiatives while maintaining attractive curb appeal and well-kept grounds
• Participate in resident events and respond to emergencies during evenings/weekends as needed

Qualifications

• One or more of the following:
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
• Associate degree
• 7 years of full-time business experience
• 5 years of property management experience
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

• Office Hours:
• Monday–Friday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
• Saturday: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm (staff rotate coverage)
• Sunday: Closed

Location Requirements

• Ability to commute daily to Raleigh, NC
